Summer camps in South Florida are plentiful, as it is a wonderful time to enjoy the outdoors in sunny Miami, Florida! Here at Sport Horse Stables, we are now offering a new spin on the normal “summer camp” experience. Are you looking for a camp to get your child outdoors and away from “screen time?” Then we have the camp for you! Your child will learn basic horsemanship along with a daily riding lesson, fun bareback sessions, arts and crafts, gymkhana games & so much MORE!!!! Come out to SHS and see all we have to offer!
Sport Horse Stables is located on 10 pristine acres just 20 miles from Downtown Miami. We offer professional programs for the aspiring rider or the rider just looking to enjoy their horse and have some fun on our beautiful expansive farm!.

OUR HISTORY
Established in 1958, the stables are located on State Route 73 and serve as the gateway to the Miami University Campus. The equestrian center stables 50 horses and is home to a nationally recognized equestrian team that serves all three disciplines: Dressage, Hunt Seat, and Western.

In addition to the equestrian team, each semester there are over 400 students that ride in a 2 credit hour class offered through the Kinesiology and Health department. The equestrian center also hosts events, lessons, and summer camps.
